The mission of the studio is to give our students roots to grow and wings to fly.

We are located in the Oakmarr development in Oakton, VA.

This mission is accomplished by instilling a sound vocal technique which will in turn sustain a lifetime of healthy singing.  The following techniques are employed:

  • Learn the language of music through singing in a joyful yet challenging atmosphere
  • Thoughtfully consider each individual’s preferred learning style
  • Emphasize a healthy approach to singing and speaking to ensure fundamentals of vocal production are strengthened
  • Provide a variety of learning dynamics and experiences through private instruction, workshops, master classes, group recitals for middle and high school students, soirées for adult students and various individual performance opportunities

We are delighted to work with singers of all ages and stages who wish to improve their singing and speaking skills. While individual goals are our primary focus and vary from person to person, many common goals include but are not limited to:

  • Increasing and developing tone production
  • Extending vocal range
  • Awareness and implementation of proper posture and breathing
  • Beginning and advanced level theory and sight reading
  • Growth and maturation of musicianship
  • Study in various genres and languages of classical and musical theatre repertoire
  • Increased awareness of stage presence and performance etiquette

A year with our studio at a glance:
